To Live and Shave in L.A. (TLASILA) is an experimental music collective founded in 1993 by avant-garde composer/producer Tom Smith (formerly of Washington, DC groups Peach of Immortality and Pussy Galore) and Miami Beach musician/producer Frank "Rat Bastard" Falestra. They were soon joined by oscillator player Ben Wolcott; this lineup created the majority of the early releases in TLASILA's extensive discography (Wikipedia)

Pengo

http://carbonrecords.com/bands/pengo

Legendary, highly volatile, psych-primitive unit from the autumnal climate of upstate New York. Fondling the same clammy flesh as Sunburned Hand of The Man and No Neck Blues Band, this band of John Schoen, Jason Finkbeiner, Nuuj and Joe Tunis marry fucked-up turntable sound with acoustic (broken folk?) instrumentation, tapes and voices to dazzling effect.

Wild Gone Girls

Wild Gone Girls is a disorienting audio/visual collaboration between Martin Freeman and Dr Hamburger using homemade instruments, video processors, found footage and feedback.
